Who we are?!

GYRN began with a simple goal: make meaningful research opportunities more accessible to young people. Our first local chapter at Sharkya STEM School allowed us to test and develop this model with students before expanding it into a global network connecting young researchers, mentors, and institutions across different countries.

Our Story

From one chapter to a global network

2025 — The beginning: GYRN was started alongside its first local chapter at Sharkya STEM School.
2026 — The model grows: students were guided through research education, mentorship, and paper development.
Today — The network expands: GYRN is being developed as a network connecting researchers, mentors, chapters, and institutions across countries.

Our Principle

Research Shouldn't Be a Privilege

Access to meaningful research education should not depend on where a student lives, which school they attend, or whether they can afford expensive programs.

GYRN works to make research education, mentorship, and collaboration more accessible to students from different backgrounds and countries.
